10 – Livia Ribichini »Sagittarius A*«

M26

“Sagittarius A*” is a constantly evolving composition that evokes a hypnotic trance within minimalist rhythms of light and sound. The work stimulates the senses with glitch aesthetics, dysfunctional beauty, and a black-and-white palette. Moments of endless transformation that transport the visitor to an elusive dimension: “Sagittarius A*” is the black hole at the center of the Milky Way. Livia Ribichini guides the visitor on this meditative journey, where a new canvas of exploration and redefinition emerges every moment.

Livia Ribichini is a multimedia artist and set designer exploring how digital technologies reshape our sense of space, time, and identity. Working between light, sculpture, and code, her installations simulate living organisms through artificial systems. Embracing error and dysfunction, she reveals the poetry of technological failure. Her work has been shown at Transmediale (DE), Rewire Festival (NL,) and Total Museum (KR). She teaches Technologies and Digital Applications at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia (IT).
